What help and support is out there for me?
Victim Support will still be available to help you throughout your time working through the Criminal Justice Process or if your journey has ended for any reason they will still be able to help you.
Victim Support do work with other specialised organisations to provide the best information and support to someone affected by crime and one of these is the Witness Service. The Citizens Advice Witness Service Is a specialised agency that provide information, help and support before court and at court.
Giving evidence in court as a witness can be a stressful and worrying time. The Witness Service provides free, confidential and independent support, information and practical help to witnesses attending trials and hearings in England and Wales, to support them to give their best evidence.
